Today was an exercise in futility. Mr. Zero got the crazy idea of entering reason into the mind of a fundamentalist. The previous week Dig Dug Deeper gave Rev. Dan a copy of a picture of Dan shaking hands with Hitler. Dan didn't like the association of true Christians like Dan with true Christians like Hitler. For some reason Dan tried to explain that Hitler couldn't possibly be a Christian like him. I had to point out that Hitler was taught by one of the legendary Christians, Martin Luther, the leader of the Reformation. I told Dan that he should read Martin Luther's book the Jews and Their Lies since Hitler's treatment of the Jews was taking line by line from Martin Luther's book. Dan wanted no part of such historical fact and turned his back on D-cubed.

Unfortunately for Dan, Mr. Zero was standing to the other side. Zero asked Dan quite a simple question, "Did the Jews who died in the Third Reich go to hell?" It was a simple yes or no question but Dan had a difficult time answering it. Dan wanted to focus more on Zero's destination in the afterlife and refused to answer the question. Yet Zero was persistent in asking the question, this upset Midnight Crapper, Brad Bennett, yet Zero kept on asking. Eventually Dan gave the pat answer that he couldn't determine where the Jews would be going after death because it wasn't his position to judge such matters. Wait a minute Dan. In your church sermon the Maggot Punks attended you announced all Arabs were going to hell, same with the Hindus. Apparently you think it is your place to determine a people's fate. Stanfield pointed out who was going to hell and who wasn't. Good ol' Brad Bennett says he went to hell and back because he was able to describe hell as being a place of darkness (although the Bible says it is a lake of fire but believing fires produce light must be a secular lie of science). So Dan, a self-described expert on Judaism because he took a vacation in Israel, wouldn't say whether or not the Jews his fellow Christian Hitler killed are going to heaven or not.

But educating a fundamentalist zealot on history is like asking him a simple yes or no question, it is a difficult task.
