Troy Newman, AKA Troyboy, used to be the right hand gland of Flip Benham of the newly resurrected Operation Save America, the newest incarnation of Randall Terry's failed Operation Rescue. The relationship fell apart when Troy decided he would make a better leader and split off from the organization. Now OSA officially disassociates themselves with Troy. During the era of Operation Rescue he headed the California operations (Operation Rescue West). Feeling the heat in California Troy moved to more apathetic pastures in Wichita, Kansas. There is a history of arrests with Troy, largely pertaining to his more militant days with Operation Rescue. His most notorious arrests came while "preaching" to gay men in a public toilet by hanging over the doors and supposedly shouting bible verses at them. He was allegedly arrested twice doing this apparently unable to get off on just one voyeuristic voyage. |

 This is an interesting photo. On this day Brenna (fat girl with the camera who looks skinny next to Danny Ware). Was being an exceptional bitch. Troy was hiding in his car and wouldn't get out leaving Brenna to do all of the protesting. I followed Brenna to Central to irritate her even more and snapped this picture. It wasn't until I moved the picture onto the PC that I noticed Troy was standing at the end of the street with his alter boy. I guess I was more concerned about what Brenna had on under that awful dress.. |
His demeanor has changed since moving to Wichita. Once open, talkative and friendly he has grown sullen and bitter. He stares at his opponents with eyebrows furled. Either a sign of his growing frustration to quickly end abortion in Wichita or because the Maggot Punks have so utterly irritated him he wishes he never left the security of California. Troy made the claim to the L.A. Times (2/17/04) that he generates $250,000 a year in donations. To other people he says he dreams he could generate that much funding. The fact is that he hasn't registered his "non-profit" organization with the state of Kansas. Thanks to having a former clinic protestor, Bryan Brown, overseeing such corruption Troy has managed to get away with not registering with the state. Without the corruption he would have to provide information to the state on exactly how much he makes. |

Perhaps we will be fortunate and it will all come to public light as Catholics for a Free Choice complained to the IRS about Operation Rescue's political activity against Senator John Kerry, putting Troy's tax-exempt status in jeopardy. Troy Newman was mentioned on the Anti-Defamation League's website. The ADL was getting comments from extremists groups and they listed Troy as giving his belief why 9-11 happened, "Today the LORD has visited our land in judgment" and the "blood of over 44,000,000 pre-born children" brought about the destruction. location of his actual address. When charged with crimes in Bel Aire he presented a false address to the police. It's far out in the country which seems suitable for Newman who wants to maintain his privacy (but has no problem invading other people's privacy).
