OR Admits They Are Broke

In a full caps e-mail Operation Rescue finally admitted what the Maggot Punks have been reporting on the discussion forum. Operation Rescue is flat broke and donations are not tax deductible.

"HOWEVER, I HAVE SOME VERY BAD NEWS...

WE ARE FLAT BROKE!!!

TO GET TO THIS POINT IN OUR FIGHT AGAINST PLANNED PARENTHOOD, IT COST US MORE MONEY THAN WE WERE ABLE TO RAISE... WHICH MEANS WE’RE BROKE!

I JUST SPOKE TO OUR ACCOUNTANT, AND WE’RE $22,000 IN THE RED!!

I HAD TO BORROW MONEY FROM FRIENDS JUST TO SEND YOU THIS LETTER!"

Well, it really doesn't cost anything to send out an e-mail but they do subscribe to an e-mail service.

"Because Operation Rescue is on the cutting edge of the abortion issue, we are viewed as "politically incorrect" by many government agencies. Therefore, donations to OR are not tax-deductible. However, this allows us to speak our mind without fear of reprisals from the government. And that means your donations actually go farther in terms of exposing the abortion cartel and the politicians who support the baby-killing industry."

Previously Operation Rescue claimed they "voluntarily" gave up their tax-exempt status. They told the press that this wouldn't impact their activities at all. I guess they were wrong as usual. So in other words while Operation Rescue has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars the Maggot Punks and their comrades have managed to bankrupt Operation Rescue with a shoestring budget (provided that shoestring was purchased at Goodwill).

So now if we organize and get a grand jury trial against Operation Rescue they'll absolutely fall apart and scurry back to California. Operation Rescue has no funds. Their new HQ is owned by Jeff White's Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust, their old HQ is owned by Love Box Co. and Troy has had to sell off his ill gotten real estate in order to pay the bills.

The 1000 Flyers Campaign

After waiting for months Democratic state senator Don Betts has officially announced that he'll run against reich-wing Republican Todd "I promise term limits" Tiahrt. The Maggot Punks have long campainged to inform the public about how utterly awful Tiahrt is for Sedgwick County and the entire country since the local media continues to slobber over Tiahrt and whitewash his record.

Betts is perhaps the best candidate to run against Tiahrt as he has a long record of public service in the state capital. The last election Tiahrt had to outspend his opponent nearly four to one and avoid any public debates because his views were so out of touch with the rest of the public. So if we add more pressure against Tiahrt he should have a more difficult job winning his office given the continued failures of the Republicans and their difficulty fundraising Tiahrt has his work cut out for him.

To aid in Betts efforts we hope to get 1000 anti-Tiahrt flyers out throughout Sedgwick County. The first one involves Tiahrt's voting against the bipartisan SCIP bill.

This bill, recently vetoed by Bush, would have increased funding to provide health care to 10 million children. The cost of the program

would have been an extra $35 billion over five years, a paltry sum compared to the waste spent on the illegal Iraqi occupation. Tiahrt claimed it would have raised taxes on all American families. In truth it would be paid for with a 61 cent increase on tobacco taxes. Tiahrt, who received $9,000 from tobacco lobbyists in 2006 thought corporate campaign donors are more important than uninsured children.

Tiahrt's claims to be a fiscal conservative is bogus. After voting for numerous bills that raised our national debt to $10 trillion dollars he said an extra $35 billion is too much. This despite the fact Tiahrt fought for a airline fuel tanker lease program that would have cost taxpayers $30 billion and was derided by fellow Republicans as unnecessary and too expensive.

So please help us out with this program. Download, print and

distribute the flyer throughout Sedgwick County. Tell us how many you have sent out and send in some photos of your work. We hope to have more flyers done in the future because there is a lot rubber stamp Tiahrt has screwed up on and more Bush bootlicking he plans on doing so we should have plenty of material.
