Court TV: An Unlikely Terrorist

On August 21, 1993 Shelly Shannon attempted to assassinate Dr. George Tiller as he drove towards his clinic. She shot him six times at point blank range. Tiller showed up for work the next day. In the meantime Shannon spent 31 years in prison for attempted murder and eight arsons towards abortion clinics.

This documentary by Court TV details the day Shannon became infamous, from her childhood influences and her religious influences into adulthood. Shannon is a member of Operation Rescue as indicated by the film and is a product of their extremist views regardless of the organization's appeal to the media that they are a non-violent organization.
