"Religion I found to be without any tendency to inspire, promote, or confirm morality, serves principally to divide us and make us unfriendly to one another." - Founding Father Ben Franklin.

Antis Above the Law?

Antis often believe they are above the law. It is, after all, only "man's" law they are violating so it really doesn't matter. Such is the case involving five antis associated with the terrorist organization Operation Save America. Months ago twelve terrorists planned on charging up to the front doors of Dr. Tiller's clinic with the purpose of disrupting the operations inside. Recently they were all found guilty of the misdeamenor charge of trespassing (in Wichita the police don't enforce federal laws against Christian terrorists).

All five terrorists are appealing the court's ruling. Four of the five plan on providing their own defense which should create quite an amusing spectacle. The fifth has hired an attorney.

The four who are providing their own defense is self-proclaimed reverend Mark Holick, his "children's church coordinator" Bill McGinnis, Bruce Garren (from Westlink Church who is an adult bible instructor) and Shawn Mumy. The fifth is associate pastor at Daniel Thompson's church in El Dorado, Kevin Stanfield. Others were arrested and refused to appeal noting that they were really guilty and that appealing a trespassing charge is something only extremely stupid people would do.

Bill McGinnis with his wife in a pic we stole from spiritonecc.org (but we did it without violence so it's okay)

Kevin with a cop behind him, he's probably used to it by now.

One anti, Michele Sheets (another member of terrorist organizer Holick's church) used the same attorney as Kevin Stanfield, attorney Rick Macias. For some reason they think he'll provide a better defense the second time around. I suppose the plan will be something akin to how it's perfectly okay to trespass onto someone's private property when you are performing some peaceful activity.

Oh right, they actually did try to make that argument in the Wichita Eagle. "The demonstration was peaceful," Macias said. "It was orderly. It was done without violence."

Well then, does that mean I can go into someone's house, sit on their couch, watch their television, eat their Pringles and not be charged with breaking and entering or trespassing as long as this was all done without violence?

Splendid! Here is the address of Kevin Stanfield who believes that private property should be abolished (hey, didn't those commies say the same thing?) and that trespassing is perfectly acceptable as long as you don't commit any violent acts:

425 W. Ash El Dorado, KS 67042

In case you are interested here are addresses of other terrorists who may make the same claims:

Bill McGinnis:

9709 E Bayley St, Wichita, KS 67207

Bruce Garren:

629 Tippecanoe St, Wichita, KS 67209

Mark Holick:

543 Limuel Ct, Wichita, KS 67235

Yeah, we seriously question that this guy could actually be the brains behind anything. Then again, they all got caught and he is defending himself against a trespassing charge.
Stop by and sit yourself down a spell. Don't worry, if these fanatics aren't hypocrites they won't have a problem with it. If they do then they'll be the first to admit to the jury that they are guilty of trespassing. Of course we all know that those who preach morality the loudest are probably the biggest hypocrites in the land.
