Inside the Anti Clinic |

Today's Videos

First things first congratulations to M. for becoming the newest Maggot Punk member. Her first order of the day was to infiltrate the Better Choice anti-clinic and record what goes on in there. After shelling out some bucks for some fancy spy equipment we were all ready. Here's what was recorded. (please right click and select 'save target as') 22 minutes, 3.83mb. Pretty much everything in the story is true, except for the entire pregnancy part. Listening to the recording you will realize that a major tactic of the antis is to lay a guilt trip on the individual. Whether it is before an abortion or after guilt is the weapon of choice for the antis. Guilt is especially damaging to a fragile mind who can be coerced into thinking she is a murderer and fall into a depression which may lead to suicide. It isn't the abortion that causes the guilt but the anti-abortionist rhetoric and propaganda that causes the guilt. Statistics show that the vast majority of women receiving abortions experience relief that the pregnancy is over. The anti's claim about 'post abortion stress disorder' is a myth, no such disorder exists in the DSM., as for the eating disorders that follow, there is no evidence for that. In the tape you hear the anti claim "that contraception thing...that's not all it's cracked up to be." That is another anti lie. Birth control pills are 99.9% effective in preventing pregnancy. Condoms are 95% effective. The anti claims that Pro-choicers recommend both sexes use contraception. Taken together and used properly it is practically impossible to get pregnant. Catholic institutions lie when they say their method of "natural family planning" is 99% effective. You may have seen some of the expensive billboards in your community. Fact is such methods of contraception (often involves timing of reproductive cycles) is 75% effective. The 99% result advertised on billboards |
came from a Catholic institution which may be just as reliable as a cigarette company saying their cigarettes don't cause cancer. The antis claims that in the past six months six women who have had their tubes tied ended up pregnant. Again, sterilization is 99.9% effective which is extremely effective. The anti makes mention of a Center for Disease Control study on the effectiveness of condoms in preventing the spread of STDs. This study http://www.niaid.nih.gov/dmid/stds/condomreport.pdf says that condoms are indeed effective in preventing people from acquiring such diseases. In other words the anti outright lied about the results of the study. While the anti did sound genuinely concerned and sympathetic, and there is no reason to doubt that she wasn't, she was willing to lie and use guilt to achieve her end goal of preventing an abortion at all costs. This recording is evidence that anyone going to an anti clinic will receive the same lecture regardless of what is best for the woman. BTW, M. really does have a husband in the Marines and he is currently headed towards the Middle East. Let's all hope M. doesn't become a widow because George Bush wanted to make a few billion dollars for his corrupt cronies. |

While M. was busy collecting the lies of the Anti Clinic, DDD and Mr Zero were outside listening to FFF's tell more lies. The first of the lies came from Brenna Sullenger. Mr Zero asked if she was alive and she responded in the affirmative. A few minutes later a patient inadvertently parked in the parking lot of 'A Better Choice'. She and her male companion realized their mistake and walked right past Brenna, over the chain and into the clinic for an abortion. Brenna did exactly nothing. The next lie came from a fairly likely source. Jeff Herzog, who has been making appearances at the clinic lately, picked up his signs and moved down to the sidewalk on Central after Mr Zero punked him down there. Jeff stayed down there for about 45 minutes and behaved himself. No one saw any reason to go down and mess with him. The photo on the left shows Jeff standing with his signs on the north side of the pole (uh uh, |
I said pole) that holds the sign for 'A Better Choice'. Please note the red dashed line which follows the pole (uh uh, I said it again). Now, examine the photo on the right. This is a file photo (from May 12, 2004 - Daniel Raymond Ware, R.I.H.) of Butt Pirate sticking his sign out in the street. The dashed line is there for a reference point. Please note that Butt Pirate is standing even further north of Jeff's position in the photo above and the sidewalk is immediately north of the pole (uh uh, I can't stop). Based on these 2 photos, I reasonable person would reasonably conclude that Jeff's signs were, at the very least, partially blocking the sidewalk. However, in this video (3.1MB 0:22), Jeff flatly denies |

that he was blocking the sidewalk to a Wichita Police officer. This is, of course, an outright lie. The Rex Machine also attempted to engage Jeff in a theological conversation which Mr Zero was privy to. It was pretty boring and was interrupted by the visit from the WPD. Rex stepped away while the police were lied to. After the law had left, Mr Zero attempted to engage Jeff in a theological discussion. Jeff said that he would not talk with Mr Zero on camera and gave no reason for being such a chicken shit. Click here (5.4MB 0:44) to watch that video. Please note that lite rain water had to be removed from the camera lens during this video. |
