We sincerely apologize for the lack of updates. Being the holiday season our employers required us to work more hours to deal with the rushes. Some things can't be avoided. Despite the lack of website activity rest assured we have our cups of coffee and continue our scheming. We have accomplished quite a bit over the past year and we are looking forward to another great year. Here's an insight into some of our current plans.

Being an election year we will drastically step up our efforts to remove fascists from public office. Last elections were campaigned without much planning. Now we are starting early with eleven months to organize strategy and get our crap together. We've cooked up quite a scheme to get our message across but we won't give away any details. Last year we had some success and failure. We campaigned heavily against anti-choice terrorist Richard Jacobson and he lost miserably to the Honorable Nile Dilmore who truly cares about his community, perhaps because he actually lives in the community he represents. Jacobson was last reported to be living in Kansas City having been provided a job by another fundy nut. We didn't do so well campaigning for Carlos Nolla against fascist Todd Tiahrt. Despite hundreds of pamphlets and campaigning door to door in the poorest sections of Wichita the ignorant majority voted Tiahrt into another two years of office so more jobs could be sent to Mexico and China. You have probably noticed our efforts to get more people registered to vote for the first time. We set the goal of getting at least 50 people registered to vote for the first time, looks like we'll acheive that goal.

Plans are currently in the works to get approval for a grant. Working with Kansas Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice we are applying to the National Network of Abortion Funds to get funding for Emergency Contraception awareness. Emergency contraception prevents abortion but for some reason the antis are against EC and they spread the lie that EC is the same as RU-486. Contrary to the anti's claims abortionists are in their business solely for profiting off abortion. Abortion clinics offer EC (so do places like Walgreen's and many other pharmacies except for Wal-Mart but they don't care about people that's why they use sweatshop labor and are anti-union). Central Women's Services offers EC for about $25 which is a lot less than the cost of an abortion. Central Clinic offers the cost of EC for much less than some pharmacies, Central Clinic isn't doing it for the money but because they care about the medical needs of women. Contrast this to the anti-abortionist propaganda shop next door who won't even provide information on women's shelters to abused women. We are about freedom, they are about control. If KRCRC gets this grant we hope to spread the message of freedom throughout Wichita and combat the ignorance spread by the antis.

We have worked to develop strong coalitions with other organizations. We have helped organize the local ACLU chapter and we provide valuable assistance with KRCRC, and provided information to the local chapter of Americans United for the Separation of Church and State for an upcoming lawsuit against the fascists we fought on the local school board.. We hope to work more with local unions and progressive political parties and motivate locals to get out of their apathy and fight for the freedoms which are slowly being compromised away.

On our website we will incorporate more video so you can see for yourselves the insanity we face at the clinic. We also hope to get more time on the radio. It's been quite some time since we've been on the Infidel Guy radio show sometime later this year we plan on being back on as Reg is a big fan of ours and we are of him.

Spunky, and perhaps D-Cubed plan on travelling back to Washington D.C. for another march on Washington. Last time the Maggot Punks marched for Atheist civil rights, this time we'll march for women's civil rights and their right to have mastery over their reproductive options. Perhaps Spunky will bring back more pictures of loonies like the ones we encountered last time.
